The pieces are formed from crystal clear borosilicate glass, the same material used to make high end lab equipment. Japanese glass craftsmen carefully hand finish each VIV piece to the highest standards with smooth edges and attention to the smallest details. You no longer need to look at an ugly canister filter intake as VIV's Glasswares enhance the look and function of your aquarium not take away from it.
VIV's Spin Outflow has a loop-shape outflow section. The water from the external filter slows down while circling inside the loop portion where a gentle water flow appropriate for small aquariums is created. Spin Pipe is also ideal for planted aquariums as it can be installed by hanging it on the aquarium, without any suction cup. The Spiral is perfect for shrimp, betta tanks, and small fish breeding or any system where good flow but low currents are desired.
Use with 10 mm or 3/8" ID tubing and is best for an aquariums 9-20" in length.
Glass thickness: For aquariums with 17 mm or 5/8" rim/glass thickness or under.
Max flow rate is 104 GPH.
Use with any Lily or Peony Inflow of choice.
Important Info: Always wet the glass tubing before inserting the silicon or rubber tubing to avoid damaging Glassware. |
